King Abdullah Financial District, KAFD

he King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is one of the largest construction sites anywhere in the world. This development is being undertaken by the Riyadh Investment Corporation, the investment arm of the Pension Authority of Saudi Arabia, and will include fifty-nine high-rise towers for both residential and commercial occupation. This self-contained 1.6 million square meter district will house retail, entertainment and hospitality offerings as well as 62,000 parking spaces, all surrounded by lush, landscaped public open spaces all serviced by an ultra-modern light rail link.
